Opting Out of Text Messaging

Once your number has been validated for text messaging, your Connect site will be able to send you text messages. If you later decide to opt out, you can do so from your volunteer profile.

To opt out of text messaging:

1. From your profile dropdown, go to Edit Profile.
2. Under the Basic Information heading, scroll to the Mobile field, where you'll see an Opt Out of Text Messages button.
   
3. Click this button to opt out.

Once you have opted out, the button above will be replace by a Send Mobile Code button. To sign up for text messaging again later, follow the instructions provided earlier in this article.
